"Snake Plant"

"Snake Plant" (Sansevieria) Native to Africa, Madagascar, & southern Asia An excellent choice for very low light, but can also be grown in moderate light or bright light that will enhance the white/cream-colored streaks in its leaves. It tolerates very low humidity extremely well. It also tolerates cool, average, or hot temperatures extremely well. In any light, its soil must dry out completely between thorough soaking waterings. Fertilize in spring & summer months (March through October) when plant is actively growing. Propagate by division or leaf cuttings or leaf-section cuttings taken in the spring. This is an extremely sturdy plant & one of the best for low light situations!
